  • Ask what goes on behind it. Wrap and flashing behind the panels are what keep the wall dry through hail, heat and a hard freeze — and they are invisible once the job is done.
  • Look at the whole elevation. Trim, soffit and fascia are part of how the house reads from the street; replacing panels alone can leave the rest looking tired.
