Luxury Coatings — what you get
Not every surface needs to be replaced. A sound slab or block wall can be stained, stamped or faced in faux stone and come out looking like it was quarried — for a fraction of the cost of tearing it out.
We use it to tie a whole backyard together: the pool deck, the patio, the kitchen island and the columns all speaking the same language.
- Acid and water-based staining for warm, mottled tone
- Stamped concrete in slate, flagstone and wood-plank patterns
- Faux stone work on walls, columns and outdoor kitchens
Most luxury coatings projects we build are designed at the same time as the hardscaping, outdoor kitchen and patio cover — that is the whole point of one team drawing the yard before anyone digs.
Luxury Coatings — common questions
Properly sealed, many years. We reseal on a simple schedule to keep color and protection up in Texas sun.
Usually for pools, structures attached to the house and anything electrical or gas. We file it and handle the inspection so it doesn’t stall your schedule.
That’s the point. One design, one crew and one schedule for the whole backyard, so the pieces fit each other instead of being bolted on one at a time.
Before You Commit to Luxury Coatings
- Prepare the concrete honestly. Staining and stamping only look as good as the surface underneath. Cracks and spalling are dealt with first, or they show through.
- See a sample in your own light. Colour on a chip in a showroom and colour on your slab in Texas sun are two different things.
- Plan for traffic and heat. Pool decks, walkways and shaded patios wear differently, so the finish and the sealer are chosen for where they are going.
How a Luxury Coatings Project Runs
- 1
A free design visit
A designer measures the yard, walks the access a crew would use, and talks through what you want the space to do. You get a firm price, not a range.
- 2
Drawings, permit and HOA
We draw the job, file the permit with your city and follow it through review. Where an HOA needs a submittal, we prepare the drawings it asks for.
- 3
One crew, one schedule
The same team builds the whole thing in the right order, so the slab, the structure, the electrical and the finish work are not three companies blaming each other.
- 4
Walkthrough and warranty
We walk the finished job with you, settle the punch list, and leave you with one warranty covering the work rather than a folder of separate ones.

Which Siding Survives a Texas Year
Spring hail, a summer heat run, then a hard freeze before Christmas. A North Texas year asks four different things of a wall. Here is how each material answers.

What Two Texas Freezes Taught Us
Most of the damage from February 2021 and December 2022 was avoidable, and none of it was exotic. Here is what broke, in order of how often we saw it, and what to do before the first hard freeze.

Patio Cover Materials That Last Here
Every material on the market survives North Texas. They just fail differently, and on different schedules. Here is what each one does in August, in a hail line, and ten years in.
